The Department of Psychiatry offers holistic mental health services with a focus on early intervention, treatment and rehabilitation.
Key services:
- Management of depression, anxiety and mood disorders
- De-addiction and substance abuse treatment
- Counselling and psychotherapy
- Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT)
- Stress and behavioral disorders management
Outpatient:
Area: Ground floor – H wing – 78
Timing: 8.30 am to 3.30 pm (Monday to Friday)
8.30 am to 1 pm (Saturday)
Clinics:
- Daily– Suicide prevention clinic
- Daily – Family counselling
- Tuesday – Marital psychosexual clinic
- Wednesday – De-addiction clinic
- Thursday – Psycho- motor clinic
- Thursday – Psycho- dermatology clinic
- Friday – Community psychiatry
- Friday – Geriatric psychiatry
- Saturday- Child guidance clinic
Inpatient:
Area: Fourth floor- D wing (Psychiatry ward- 406)
Visiting hours: 4 pm to 7 pm
